Information
How to arrive. From 5:00 p.m., the access road to the Seiser Alm is open to private car traffic. For all participants in the cross-country skiing race, a parking area near the start and finish area is reserved. The Seiser Alm cable car operates continuously from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 a.m. On this day, participants in the ski marathon may use the lift facilities free of charge. Spectators have free access from 6:00 p.m.
Competition office. You can pick up your starting number in the race office on the Seiser Alm (near the start/finish line) on 29/01/2026 from 3pm to 6pm and on 30/01/2026 from 9am.
Late registration is possible until 7pm (in cash) on 30/01/2026. For using the free wax-service from the race day‘s afternoon on, put only grip-wax on your cleaned ski.
Useful information. Track inspection and training is possible from 8am. To all the participants are offered waxing service and suggestions near the start/finish area. The first 2.5 km can be run on all six slopes. Changing room and possibility to take a shower in the firemen ‘s hall.
RACE PROGRAM
7.30pm Starting line-up. All participants must be present with marked skies on start line.
8pm Mass start for the 18th Moonlight Classic Cross-country skiing marathon under the moonlight on the Seiser Alm.
8.10pm Start “Just for Fun” Race (5 km) For beginners and hobby runners.
8.35pm The first athletes and the winner of the 15 km long track will reach the finish.
9.15pm The winner of the 18th Moonlight Classic Seiser Alm will enter the home straight. Follows the Flower Ceremony.
10pm Award ceremony (athletes on the ten first ranges each category must be present on the ceremony). Lottery of prizes among all bibs present in the tent.
10:15pm After Show Party
